What's the best way to put out a fire that's... kind of large?

[ Out behind the barracks, there is a tree that's just a little bit on fire. It's not serious or anything, just... on fire. Repliku was practicing and accidently set it alight, okay? It was an accident!

Where are you? [Not that Hugo knows how to put it out since he's a Fire Rune user, but he'll figure something out! Notice his lack of hostility? Hugo doesn't at least.]

Any water source nearby? [Act first, think later! That tree has probably burned halfway by the time Hugo arrives, huh?]

I don't think so... [ He's managed to miss the river a short ways away, but there's a building in the way and he's mostly watching the tree to make sure the fire doesn't spread. Which it hasn't, luckily, but the tree's nice and burning away. ]

[Aaaand Hugo will just skid to a halt as soon as he rounds to corner, trying to catch his breath. Oh, good, the fire hasn't spread. Just give him a moment to breathe because it was actually a pretty long run, and he might have noticed that river you missed a while ago, Repliku.

... Okay, okay, we're good. Maybe. Sort of.] Bucket. We need a bucket.

[ Oh, hello to you too. ] I don't have one. [ A branch snaps and tumbles to the ground, landing a bit too near the base of another tree. Repliku quickly dashes in to snuff it, then pulls back again. ]

[Nice day we're having huh? Well, no bucket means there's no way he can get water. Does that tree have a lot of snow on it?]

[ Well, it did. Most of it's melted or in the process of melting. ]

[We'll just have to take advantage of that then. Hopefully the melting snow could somehow lessen the spreading of the fire and well... Hugo looks around and quickly starts packing snow together to make a larger than usual snowball, enough for him to still be able to throw at the burning parts of the tree, at least.

Nothing. [ He starts makng another, and somewhat mumbles, ] Haven't thrown a snowball before. [ There's a bit of a laugh, then, back at his usual volume, ] I mean, it's kinda a waste to throw it at a tree, right?

[ He hesitates a moment, then throws the snowball at the tree, missing it by a small margin. ]

[Hugo blinks for a moment then gives a smile, finding that strangely cute.] It kind of is, isn't it? We probably look a little ridiculous.

[ He makes a soft noise, then picks up a snowball and throws it at the tree. This time, he hits. ] Hmph. There.
