[ In the lake south of the village, there is a commotion today. What sort of commotion? A small, dark creature is wading out into the shallows where it struggles and flails and splashes a lot. After a while it manages to make its way back to shore. There it waits for a little, shaking off the water and gathering energy back again, before repeating this whole process once more.

Repliku is trying to relearn swimming. It is not going well. ]

[ Swimming, duh. Can't you tell? This flailing mess of wet tangled Heartless limbs is totally trying to be breaststroke. ... when he's not flailing to get back above water because this is not working as planned.

Okay dragging himself back to shore now to be wet and unhappy for a little while longer. ]

[Up until now she had been living in a desert, so swimming isn't something she's very familiar with. She may not be able to tell what he's doing, but whatever is, he doesn't look very happy about it!]

You're a rather curious creature. Although I cannot be certain you are incapable of speech, you seem to understand mine. [Tilting her head in the other direction now. Because this totally helps her see better, really.] ...you are human, aren't you?

[ He's... not quite sure what to make of that. It's not unknown that certain types of Heartless used to be people, but... is she from his world? Or can she tell some other way?

He takes a curious step towards her, leaving beside his pursuit of swimming for now. ]

[All right, so that "something off" isn't completely lost on her; his foot steps don't sound very human. Humans typically wore shoes, after all. But he had just been swimming... er, well, attempting to drown himself. She really isn't sure.]

[Either way, he's coming closer, and she's not all the way sure how to react. So far, there's no reason to move away.] I suppose it was silly to ask, seeing as there isn't much way for you to answer, is there...

[ He doesn't get much closer, stopping and shaking his head. No talking for him, sorry :| Though he does motion towards his eyes. The blindfold just seems really... strange to him. ]

You are wondering about this? [Her hand hovers up to her blindfold at the motion.] I am not quite so blind as I may seem. Rather, this is meant as protection for those around me. Without it, I would be unable to properly control my power.

[A smile.]...that and walking around with your eyes closed all the time is far more difficult than one might think.
