[He doesn't really know where his own thoughts are right now. And if he was sober, perhaps this thought wouldn't have even crossed his mind.]

[But here it was, and with each passing second he could feel his face growing hotter and his mind growing heavy, as though he could just curl up somewhere and fall asleep right now.]

[He still hasn't pulled his hands away, clinging slightly to Kohan's shirt. It's a good thing he's talking somewhat slowly, or the slur in his words might make them hard to decipher.]

...it's... what people are supposed to do under mistletoe... right?

... yeah... [ Ion feels so warm against him, and the world is getting fuzzy at the edges. Kohan swallows thickly and tries to look to the side, but it doesn't even take a second before his gaze is drifting back. ]

And we only have to... try it once, if it doesn't work...

[Kohan may look away, but Ion just can't bring himself to. He doesn't know what it is -- maybe the alcohol is just getting to him, or maybe it's the feeling of Kohan's body against his own. But in this moment, right now, suddenly all he can think about is that week nearly a year ago where he spent a great deal of time being this close to Kohan.]

[And there's only one thing he can think of doing in a situation like this. His body moves almost without realizing it, and soon he has one hand on Kohan's chest and another at his shoulder.]



Well, in that case... we'd just have to try again.

[There's no waiting for a reply. In an instant, he's leaning up and pressing his lips against Kohan's -- impulsive and impatient.]

[And it's probably a good thing they're so close to a wall, because Ion isn't taking much consideration into where gravity will take him once they're freed from the mistletoe's grasp.]

[ Good indeed. Because Kohan here was expecting a semi-awkward "we both slowly lean in until we're kissing" thing. Suddenly having Ion's body against him, an unexpected freeing of his feet, and slightly lagging reaction times combine to send him stumbling backwards until his back hits the wall. Rather than flailing, his instinct is to grab Ion, and whether it was thanks to the kiss or out of intention to make sure Ion didn't fall his brain is not up to figuring out. So here he is, back pressed to the wall and holding Ion against him, and kissing, almost exactly like he remembers from the last time he and Ion kissed despite how long ago that was.

Was this a smart idea? Probably not. Was Kohan considering that right now? Hell no. ]

[So Luke was just thinking he'd go to Seventh Heaven to get some quality food to eat when

suddenly

A WILD MAKE OUT APPEARS

Luke very nearly trips over his own feet once he sees it, and he gapes open mouthed at the sight. It's part the fact that oh god, he just walked in on two people making out, and part IS THAT ION PRESSING KOHAN AGAINST A WALL??

He makes a very quiet noise as he lifts a hand, as if to say something but having his voice get caught in his throat, then glances away, his hand lowering awkwardly...

And then just walks right back out at a fast pace, and makes sure to slam that door shut behind him.

Just. Nope. Nope nope nope.]

[Ion doesn't even register the fall -- he only feels Kohan's arm wrap around him as he returns the kiss, and suddenly all rational thought is gone. If not for Kohan's lips pressed against him own, giving rise to those memories of the last Valentine's Day, he might not even be aware of what he was doing. He could feel his body heating up, and all thoughts of doing this to be freed from the mistletoe were gone -- he just wanted to kiss Kohan right now. That's the only honest explanation he could think of right now.]

[Until he hears the slamming of a door, belatedly bringing him back to reality just enough to remember that other people are here... but still not quite enough to care, given his drunken state.]

[ Well, Kohan is not too drunk to care about the sudden reality check. Perhaps a bit too much deja-vu. But suddenly he's very aware of the fact that they are practically making out in a somewhat crowded restaurant. So there will be slight nudging of Ion in the "away from Kohan" direction. ]

[Ion may be a bit on the clingy side right now, but he's still drunk and he's still Ion, so pushing him off isn't exactly a difficult feat. His face is bright red by now, and not because he's embarrassed. It seems the Fon Master has the left the building.]

Yes, Kohan? [...] Oh! We're free now, aren't we?

[ Because if that's what a simple kiss did, Kohan is not risking actually bringing Ion home.

[And then Kohan became the unluckiest man in all of Luceti.]

[ At least he isn't as drunk as Ion. ]

Come on. Let's get you home so you can get warm again.

[ So Kohan is now walking forward. Hope you're moving your feet, Ion. ]

Oh, but I already feel warm, though! [Said between some giggles. The alcohol is, naturally, to blame.]

[But at least he's walking, though! Not quite in a straight line, but he doesn't have to worry about falling and landing on his face so long as he's got Kohan's arm to lean on!]

[And maybe nuzzle against a little. Sorry bro.]

And you feel warm too! Even if it's cold outside... it's nice.

[ Pointedly Not Thinking about Ion being warm. Because even though Kohan isn't much of a cuddler, the idea of just curling up together for a while is sounding pretty nice...

He gives his head half a shake to dislodge the train of thought, then focuses on the path in front of them. ]

Still, it'll get much colder once it's dark, so let's not take too long.

All right! [And so they march on! And the nuzzling continues. Because what is self-control.]

But will you be okay? Walking back, I mean. Since it's so cold and House One is so far...

Oh, I'm not falling over either! [...only because of the clinging, but details. He just laughs again, though.]

So you don't need to walk me the whole way. Once we can see the house, I can go the rest of the way myself.

[This may or may not be his way of trying to give Kohan the slip. He may be drunk, but he's still thinking just enough to know that he doesn't want to go home and let everyone else see him like this. But if he suggests that to Kohan, he might still make him go home...]

We'll see. But if you tip over again, I'm making sure you make it all the way through the front door. The last thing I'd want to hear is that I left you to freeze five feet from your house.

[So if he wants his chance, he needs perfect balance until they get to House One.]

[And so, as if trying to just go and prove his point, he pulls off from Kohan a bit and stands upright on his own, a look of determination of his face as he tries oh so hard not to trip and stumble.]
