[The area with the scar has a different texture than the skin around it, and the muscle is certainly more tense than his other shoulder. But he doesn't flinch or pull away from his touch. And once they're kissing again, Ion finds it's much easier to just forget about it right now and focus on Kohan instead.]

[But Ion knew before they could really move on to anything more, they still needed to find an answer for Kohan. Getting past his own insecurities was just one step. But seeing as how it's just so nice standing here and kissing Kohan, he decides to test the waters a bit and pull his body up against Kohan's, paying particular attention to where their hips meet. Even through all the earlier embarrassment, Ion was still noticeably hard.]

Kohan, too, was finding it easier to forget, but not about scars. No, Kohan had forgotten about his insecurities and why they were here in the first place.

So when Ion presses against him and reminds him about exactly where they're planning on heading tonight, Kohan responds with all the grace and dignity of a teenage boy caught off-guard with a boner and no shirt.

He gives a high-pitched noise of surprise that, when filtered through the kiss, sounds a lot like a squeak. ]

[The squeak is enough to make Ion pull back, through perhaps just a bit too quickly and he nearly loses his balance. He catches himself quickly enough though and looks back up at Kohan somewhat sheepishly.]

No, I just... got caught by surprise. ... Sorry.

[ He takes a deep breath and gives a small squeeze to Ion's hand. ]

How are you doing?

[ Kohan you're the one who's more uncomfortable with stuff here. ]

I'm fine, but... is this making you uncomfortable? I want to know how you really feel, so please don't push yourself.

[The last thing he wants is for Kohan to do something that would only repulse him or make him uncomfortable. That was why they were here, after all -- and if it did turn out that Kohan wasn't attracted to him like that, Ion wouldn't bring it up again.]

[...of course, that'd probably be easier said than done at some point, but right now that's not what he's concerned about.]

I... [ He hesitates, but after a couple seconds, he realizes that was a terrible place to leave Ion hanging. ] I really don't know. I think... I'm still getting hung up on something.

[Definitely the worst place he could have paused, yeah. But even his eventual answer leaves much to be desired. He can't exactly blame Kohan, since he knows he's not feeling this way on purpose, but he's starting to feel at a loss here.]

[He doesn't finish that sentence -- his eyes trail downward and there's hardly a need to when it's pretty obvious what he's referring to.]

And then Kohan thinks about a possible way to figure out if that's really a problem. And blushes harder.

There's a few more seconds, and he takes a deep breath. ]

Tell me if I should stop.

[ HERE GOES NOTHING BECAUSE he is just going for it and sliding his hand down the front of Ion's pants. ]

[Ion looks up in confusion when Kohan speaks, not sure exactly what he's planning until he's suddenly putting that plan into action. With a sharp gasp, Ion grabs onto Kohan's arm, though more so to steady himself than actually try and stop him.]

[On the contrary, the last thing Ion wants is to make Kohan stop. Without even really realizing what he's doing, he shifts his hips a bit to try and increase contact with Kohan's hand. If the look on Ion's face was any indication, it definitely felt good.]

not what Kohan was expecting. It feels, well. A lot like his own. He's not really making an effort to make it feel good for Ion, sorry. Mostly getting used to the feeling of his hand on Ion's dick.

He'd be lying if he claimed to be entirely comfortable with it, but it's not as bad as he was expecting. ]

[He may not be making much effort yet, but given how long Ion's been hard with nothing to give him any sort of relief, even the slight contact feels nice. He wants more, but knows he should be patient -- this was a pretty big step up from what they were managing before, after all.]

[For Ion's part, his face is deep red and he's trying to keep himself from fidgeting too much (and not entirely succeeding). Though he's at a bit of a loss at what to do with his own hands while Kohan touches him for now simply focusing on keeping himself upright. All this excitement was a bit much for him while standing up.]

It's not that bad... [ He mumbles it, saying it mostly to himself. But he's aware that Ion's fidgeting, so while he still can't look Ion in the eye when he says it, he manages to ask, ] I-is there... anything you want me to...?

[There were so many better things Ion could have responded with, but he hardly thinks falling down would do much for the awkwardness they've still got going on between the two of them.]

[Though the next part may be a little hard to hear -- Kohan's not the only one mumbling.]

[Ion doesn't have such thoughts to assume they could do such things anywhere other than on a bed. This is still what they're doing, right??]

[And he's just going to go ahead and grab Kohan's hand and start leading him over. It's just a bed, gosh!]

[ IT'S A BED BUT HE IS NOT READY FOR A BED YET.

But he lets Ion pull him over, though he still hesitates to sit down right away. ]

[Yeah, he's noticing that. Clearly there's gotta be a way to make this easier. It seemed to be awkward enough when they were standing face-to-face, and on would have never guessed that Kohan would just take initiative like that. But if they were sitting next to each other it really wouldn't be any less awkward...]

[Until he gets an idea.]

...would you mind sitting down first? Perhaps... with your back against the headboard?

[ He's not... exactly sure where Ion is going with that, but he does as asked. ]

Mm. Yes, that's good.

[And it doesn't take long before Ion's climbing up on the bed with him, settling down between Kohan's legs with his back to him. Of course, putting his back to Kohan means he can see the rest of the scar on his back pretty clearly now: a jagged diagonal that clearly passes by the base of one of his wings.]

[But that's probably the furthest thing from Ion's mind right now, and soon he's scooted back enough that it'll be hard to see Ion's back at all for how close he is.]

There. I thought this might work a little better than when we were standing before...

[ ... Yeah, distracted from scar by Ion's body close enough to feel something poking against him.

Welp, wasn't expecting this... ]

[ He does not see the brilliance of Ion's plan just yet. ]

[Ion just smiles, turning his head just enough to peek up at Kohan from the corner of his eye, before facing forward again. He takes a moment to just enjoy feeling the warmth of Kohan's body against his back, letting out a soft sigh before speaking.]

So... you were asking before if there was anything I wanted you to do?

Yeah. ... Why? What is it?

[ Despite the awkwardness, he finds himself leaning forward against Ion a little. ]

[He reaches over to find Kohan's hand, grabbing it and gently pulling it up on his thigh. Though it takes him a moment to find the right words... eventually, he settles on something simple.]
