[Well, if Kohan wanted them to be closer, he just needed to say so! But seeing as there isn't much talking going on right now, Ion takes the initiative himself to essentially straddle one of Kohan's legs, giving them both a better angle to work with. A bit more intimate than usual, but perhaps it was just the influence of that movie in tandem with their earlier conversation at work here.]

[And all the while he manages not to break the kiss, now running his hand up through Kohan's hair.]

[ Ion might not have broken the kiss, but Kohan does, because those hands in his hair combined with Ion's closeness means he's starting to react. And that's a route he's not entirely sure they're ready for yet.

So instead he breaks the kiss and rests his forehead against Ion's, only then realizing he's started breathing heavily.

Give him a second to calm down okay. ]

[Ion opens his eyes when Kohan pulls back, his hand now just running down the back of Kohan's head over his hair -- perhaps a bit more comforting than sensual.]

[But he can feel Kohan's breath hot on his lips with every breath he takes, and that was enough to keep the blush on his face going strong. He keeps his voice low and soft, almost a whisper.]

...do you want to keep going? We can stop if this is too much.

It's okay, just... [ And he unconsciously tries to shift to help mitigate the problem, but it doesn't work too well with Ion on his leg. ] give me a second.

[Kohan's not doing Ion any favors trying to shift while he's still on his leg, considering what they were just doing. It's enough that it prompts him to sit up straight and pull his hands back for a moment, blushing just a bit more.]

A-Ah, would you like to try moving a bit? In case sitting like this is uncomfortable.

I-it's not! [ He looks up at Ion quickly, a bit startled. ] I think I just needed a little break. [ He tries to chuckle but oh god that came out so awkward whoops... ]

[He doesn't need to worry, he's about just as awkward as Ion is right now. Especially after that little shifting incident -- he was straddled right over Kohan's leg right now, after all. He almost wanted to suggest himself that they try and move somehow, but... at the same time, he doesn't want to.]

[The thought of which has him blushing even more, even if there's still a smile on his face as well. He nods.]

All right then. Just... let me know when you're ready again.

[ Ion if you were less adorably cute Kohan wouldn't need another moment here.

But after a few more seconds and a deep breath, Kohan starts leaning in again. ]

I'm... alright if you are, I think...

[Ion doesn't answer -- he doesn't need to. With a small nod, he leans back down as well, pressing their lips together as he resumes their kiss, running his hand up through Kohan's hair. His other hand makes its way to Kohan's arm, running along his bicep and feeling his muscles.]

[Though Kohan might notice that Ion seems a bit more eager this time around -- the reason for which is probably going to start feeling a little obvious with the way Ion is sitting against his leg.]

[ Kohan kisses back, the eagerness not really registering. Not, of course, until he starts to feel that. And with his mind lagging a little, it takes a couple seconds before he realizes just what it is that feels like--

He startles and pulls back again, feeling the blush spread across his face. ]

D-do you need a moment, too?

[ Ion he can feel that ]

[This time when Kohan pulls back, Ion gives a small whine, breathing just a bit more heavily than normal just as Kohan had been moments before. But the question makes him pause, biting his lower lip as he looks away and nods.]

...maybe... a few moments.

[He really wants to just keep kissing Kohan, but if Kohan doesn't want to when he's reacting like this, then that's just going to be a problem.]

[ Kohan suddenly feels even more awkward, but he's not really sure what to do about it. So he just sort of... leans back a teensy bit to give Ion more space. ]

Okay then...

[ He's not sure how to help Ion's problem, whoops. ]

[Ion's not too sure either, seeing as this was a problem he usually dealt with by... well. Cold showers. But he has neither the want nor ability to use that method right now. So he tries to just distract himself and think of other things.]

[But not even a minute goes by before he seems to give up on that method, realizing that they couldn't just keep going like this. At least, not with this method of stopping every few minutes.]

...listen, Kohan, I... I want us to keep going. But if you're uncomfortable with that, we'll probably have to stop here.

[ Kohan has to take a moment to digest that and consider. It's... true that he feels awkward every time it happens, but... he's not entirely sure if it's discomfort, or... something else. He's also not sure what that something else would be.

After a moment he takes a deep breath. ]

Alright. But, if it gets to be too much...

[ Though he's not sure which of them he's saying it would be too much for, or what they'd do at that point (besides just stop?), or any of that. Instead he just leans in and continues the kiss.

Kissing, at least, was much simpler. ]

[Ion's not so sure Kohan understood what he meant when he said he wanted to keep going, but he's not really going to complain now. Not when Kohan's kissing him again. He'll just have to wait for the hypothetical "too much" to happen -- or for one of them decide this was too much to be doing out in the open.]

[He resumes where he left off before, only this time further closing the distance between their bodies, his hips sliding closer to Kohan's and effectively eliminating any mystery to just how much Ion was enjoying the contact.]

[ ... welp. Mystery gone!

When Ion shifts forward, Kohan hesitates for half a second, but soon he tries to just focus on the kiss. He could totally pretend that was... something... else... or something...

Hey he's trying alright. ]

[He can try all he like, but he just can't expect to go through life ignoring the fact that he's dating a dude and dudes react in certain ways to certain things.]

[Though after awhile, Ion's going to be the one to pull back, but not exactly for the same reason Kohan mentioned before.]

Do you think we should... move somewhere a little more private?

[ The way that Kohan's face flushes might give Ion a pretty good indication that no, Kohan hadn't understood what he really meant earlier.

He drops his gaze off to the floor and steadies himself. ]

Ion, I'm... [ you can do it, Kohan. Ion won't hate you for being honest with him. ] you do... know what you're asking, right?

[ baby steps ]

[At least asking that had given him a pretty good idea of Ion's intentions. Though seeing that blush only makes the blush on his own face more prominent.]

...yes, I do. But if you don't want to, that's all right too. [He reaches out to find Kohan's hand, giving it a squeeze.]

Not, entirely that. I'm just... not sure how much I'm comfortable with... [ boning another dude

And then the dam breaks. ]

I mean, I've thought about it. [ A lot. ] But for some reason, it always just... seems weird. I wish I knew how to explain it, but I haven't really figured it out, myself. There's just something that doesn't feel like... it should, I guess. I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to feel about it, but... this seems like it's not it.

[Ion listens, nodding as Kohan speaks. But before he answers, the first thing he's going to do is carefully climb off of Kohan and seat himself next to him... and then keeping his knees pulled up against his chest, because that's just awkward otherwise.]

...well. I asked you before, when we first got together, if you were attracted to me. I didn't push you for an answer then, and I suppose at the time it didn't matter, but...

[Even though he feels like the answer should be obvious, when he gets right down to it, it's not. And in the back of his mind, he already has an idea of what could be the problem. Though he's kind of hoping he's wrong.]

...are you?

I... think so. [ At least that's the answer he's come to peace with.

Also kind of shifting his legs to cut down on the awkward on this side too. ]

I mean, when I think about you, I... am pretty sure I'm attracted to you. Just... when I try to imagine us... yeah... I can't, somehow. Not really.

[It's actually surprising him how difficult this question is to ask while trying to keep his voice and expression neutral.]

...do you think you would have this same problem if I was a girl?

[ The question genuinely catches him by surprise, and it takes him several seconds to respond if only because he's turning the sounds over in his head and making sure he understood them right. ]

I... really have no idea. I don't think I've ever thought about it. ... Why?

[Never even thought about it... that may not answer the question, but it does give Ion a bit of relief.]

I'm not exactly a very masculine boy. I've been mistaken for a girl more times than I can count. And... it's not as though you've ever seen me without clothes on before. What if you're just attracted to me because of that?
